A Letter for the 15-year Old Me

For September 25, 2015

Dear 15-year-old Dudut,

Hi! How are you?

It’s been quite a while since we last met. I miss you already. Are you having a great time being a 15-year old teenager? I’m sure you’ve been through a lot. But I just want you to know to always be happy. Have a great time. Cherish each moment you have with your family and friends. Value the memories you share with them. Show them how much they mean to you and how much you love them. Live your life according to how God wants it. Soon, you will realize how time runs so fast and you won’t even notice how much you’ve grown and what you’ve become. So as early as now, make decisions that will make a great impact to your life in a way that it will make you better in the future. Grab opportunities that you think will help you in the long run. Don’t be discouraged with problems that come along the way. Instead, make them your motivation to carry on with life. Of course, never ever forget to acknowledge God in everything you do.

Keep moving forward. You will still have a long way to go and a lot of challenges to face. Once you’ve overcome them, you will become a better person later on. Just be yourself and don’t let anything or anyone pin you down.

God bless you! Keep your faith growing. I love you!

Love,

20-year-old Dudut
