We were made to list 30 things that
happened to us this month. They can be funny, embarrassing, happy or
infuriating. Then out from those list, pick one and write about it. And so,
since 30 would be so many if I write them down here, I prefer to write only one
that I picked from the list that I’ve made.
From my list, I picked the time when I
had my demonstration in Ed12 just recently. Before my final demonstration, I
prepared all the necessary instructional materials for my demo which took me a
week to complete everything. It was very taxing on my part but I know I had to
do well in this demonstration. When the day finally came, I was nervous. So
many questions popped out my mind like “Will
I do well? Will I finish my demonstration smoothly? Will ma’am dean be
impressed? What could her comments be?” and so many others. Olive, Lovely
and I waited for almost 4 hours before we could have our final demonstration
since other students have already come before us. Lovely demonstrated first;
Olive followed. All the comments were positive which intimidated me a lot. “What if I don’t do well in this?” I
thought. So I prayed and asked God for guidance. Since I was the last presenter
for the day, I had to make sure that I finish strong. I held on to the saying
“Save the best for last.” I made my voice loud and spoke with ease and
confidence. I kept smiling to hide my tension. Ma’am dean cut my demonstration
off after the generalization which I guess was a signal that she’d seen enough.
She gave her comments and by God’s grace, all were positive ones. Yippee!!! Praise
God! We were very happy for doing well and for finishing the demonstration. It
was really a nerve-wracking-heart-dropping-yet-very-fulfilling-day. Thank you
Lord!
