My Philosophy in Life

Our lives are filled with so many challenges, difficulties, ups and downs, and disappointments which are basically a part of our existence as human beings. Everyday holds new opportunities and possibilities that may surprise and motivate us to continue with what we have started. Some instances, however, may discourage and hinder us from moving on and finishing our race in life.

As imperfect beings, our mental capacity to understand is limited only to what we see and observe around us. One of these limitations includes our inability to foresee what life has in store for us in the future.  I believe that there are yet several amazing things that we have not seen and unfathomable questions that are left unanswered until this very moment. However, the silver lining lies on the fact that God allows some detours and U-turns to reveal His perfect plan for our lives. He is teaching us to develop discernment for us to understand why undesirable things happen sometimes.

Jeremiah 29:11 states that “I alone know the plans I have for you. Plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for” (GNT). This is one of the many promises of God that I am holding onto since I accepted Him as my personal Lord and Savior. I strongly believe that God is in control of everything and that He is the one who holds our future. Even before He created us, I believe that He has already designed a unique plan for each one of us. As created beings, it is then our responsibility to stay on track and fulfil God’s plans for our lives. Some things might come out differently but as long as we obey and depend on Him, everything will surely end up perfectly. These plans of His will also be revealed to us in God’s perfect time.

Hence, I believe that when God is in control, nothing can go wrong and that everything happens according to His plans.
